StableNet's integrated automatic network and device discovery provides topology visualization and documentation that helps in the understanding and support of the IT infrastructure. You can use it to validate design guidelines and to better understand the network for future design, change, or troubleshooting.

How it works

The configuration management system discovers the network including all it's properties such as:

• All devices with their properties


• All physical and logical links such as VLANs


• All Layer 3 and Layer 2 VPNs


• All servers with the applictions running on these servers

Further, the configuration management system maintains the current running configurations of all devices and a set number of previous running versions. This information can be used for troubleshooting and configuration or change audits.
